Courier was my next stop! This place is located downtown, had a walk up window only at the time that I went, however, it looks like they are transitioning back into having a more standard shop with to-go ordering only at the time I’m writing this (see instagram: Courier Coffee Roasters (@couriercoffeeroasters). According to their sign, they brew their own fresh single origin coffee every day (super cool!). They had a solid, classic coffee menu, and though I didn’t try any, I saw that they have some of their own homemade syrups which is always unique and a sign of a good shop. I ordered a plain 12oz latte since I really needed the energy; I was on my way to go help my friend try on wedding dresses a few blocks away, and I didn’t take into account the fact that I had to bike there after having ordered my latte. Thus, there was some multi-tasking/trying not to spill this latte that had to happen, but all that aside, it was a really good drink. I don’t know exactly what time of espresso that they used, but I liked it a lot and it was nice and energizing for a wedding dress shopping experience. This one is a really good example of a place that has really nice local vibes, and from what I can tell, is a great small business model that deserves some love. I’m definitely planning to go back and try their drip coffee roast, as well as take a look at the new shop style, so stay tuned for that!

The only photo I got, unfortunately! Will need to go back and add to this post, but here is my cute yellow bike:)

Formerly Portland Coffee Tour-- I've now moved up in the world (literally, it's north of Portland). I am working on finding Seattle's best non-starbucks coffee.
