The last few coffee places that I have been to have been super awesome, and kind of had a more “basic coffee menu feel”. It was really nice to go to Dragonfly following them, because this one is different in that it’s a bit of a showstopper! It’s located near NW 22nd, which is a really cute neighborhood in NW, and it’s a HUGE shop with tons of indoor and outdoor seating. On the day that I went, there were so many people there that getting an outdoor table was actually kind of difficult! As with others that I’ve been to, the website emphasizes it being a community gathering spot, and that definitely seemed to be the case based on what I saw. I ordered outside since I had my dogs with me, and I got an iced bees knees latte, half sweet. I really thought that their espresso was great, and I was happy that I got the drink iced. Still being able to get the quality espresso with a more decedent drink is definitely a good sign. I plan on returning to try more things, so stay tuned for part 2! So far, I can say this is one of my top picks for outdoor seating and unique specialty lattes:)

The cute little ordering window!

Formerly Portland Coffee Tour-- I've now moved up in the world (literally, it's north of Portland). I am working on finding Seattle's best non-starbucks coffee.
